The Harz National Park fascinates visitors with its wild originality. Here you will find forests, water and meadows with unique flora and fauna, precipitous granite cliffs and gnarly mountain spruce trees, misty moors and babbling brooks. From the southern edge of the Harz at Herzberg, over the high landscapes around the Brocken to the northern edge at Ilsenburg, all the characteristic habitats can be experienced - you can learn more about them in the National Park houses.
